The Theatre Royal Drury Lane is a Grade I-listed building located on a site in London’s West End, which has been home to a theatre since 1663. Following a number of historical reincarnations, the current theatre dates from 1812, with the auditorium rebuilt in 1922. The most recent restoration, by Haworth Tompkins, sought to untangle the circulation within the theatre and open it up to the public. Â
